Description of the Competition
SPARRING RULES HIGHLIGHTS
➢ All categories will follow a pyramid elimination system.
➢ Sparring for pioneers & cadets: two rounds (2x1 min.)
➢ Pre-juniors: two rounds (2x1,30 min.)
➢ Juniors: two rounds (2x2 min.).
➢ If there is not enough competitors in individual category the
organizer can join categories together.
PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
➢ All participants must wear official ITF dobok and protective
equipment according to ITF rules.
➢ Red or blue helmet depending on the draw.
➢ Groin protectors are worn inside the dobok by men only.
➢ A category of Individual Sparring consists of colour and black
belts.
➢ There are no different categories according to technical degree.
Minimum requirement for sparring is 8 gup.

SCHEDULE FOR SATURDAY 23. MAY 2026.
08:00 – 09:00 / Weight-in
09:00 – 09:30 / Referee and coaches meeting
10:00 – 10:30 / Opening ceremony & Competition start
13:00 - 14:00 / Lunch break
14:00 - / Competition continuation
Registration Fee
Entry fee: 30€ for each entered competitor (sparring & pattern)
Informations
REFEREES
➢ Referees will wear clothing as specified in the ITF refereeing
rules. All participating teams must bring the following number of
referees: Up to 10 competitors - 1 referee, From 10 to 20
competitors - 2 referees, etc.
➢ All referees will be compensated in accordance with the
organizer’s regulations.
➢ Club that participates in the tournament without a referee must
pay 50 euros on the day of the tournament (no exceptions).
➢ The organizer will provide food and drinks for all referees and
coaches on the day of the tournament.
WEIGHT CHECKING
➢ Weighing will be performed one day before the competition from
17:00 to 20:00.
➢ And weighing will be performed on the day of the tournament in
Sports hall “Salih Omerčević” Cazin from 8.00 am till 9.00am.
Tolerance is 0,5kg.
➢ Each competitor that will exceed registered weight will be
disqualified.
